This week we dig deep on the newly released book book by Dave Mustaine, which we will be calling the “Rust in Peace book” for short. We take a look at chapters 7-12 in this particular episode by pulling out the interesting points and sharing our thoughts.

Corporal realized as he galloped along the rolling hills that he wanted to start a heavy metal band. He had always been a big fan of Black Sabbath. This went back to the days when his father would play The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. These bands had moments of proto-heaviness that awoken something in the young nag. Black Sabbath is what took it over-the-top and fully realized everything Corporal was looking for. Then came in Iron Maiden & Judas Priest. It was game over.
