Interview – Chris Monroy of Skeletal Remains

This week features Chris Monroy, guitarist/vocalist of Skeletal Remains. The band is dropping their brand new album, The Entombment of Chaos, on 9/11/20.

This week we had the pleasure of chatting with the mastermind behind Skeletal Remains, Chis Monroy. Having listened to this album in full prior to chatting with Chris, we were ecstatic to chat with him. The album, as the kids say these days, slaps. It was great to pick his brain about it. There’s so much great new death metal out there, from Necrot to Blood Incantation to Gatecreeper, that it can be challenging to stick out. Let me tell you, this band sticks out. We were mesmerized by the intricate song structures on this one. The best part is that the complexity of the album does not sacrifice headbanger riffs. It’s a fucking blast to listen to.

My call to action for this band. Press play and be ready to undulate that cranium!

Skeletal Remains is:
Chris Monroy – guitars/vocals
Mike De La O – guitars
Noah Young – bass
Charlie Koryn – drums
