Grunge Nostalgia with Shane Sherman of BADGUYSWIN

BADGUYSWIN is committed to reviving that grunge, stoner rock sound of the early 90s. In April, the Grand Forks, British Columbia trio released its debut album Cowards, which features 12 tracks sure to satisfy fans yearning for that “Seattle sound.”

Vocalist and guitarist Shane Sherman joins Mark Radlund on this week’s episode. We dig into our favorite grunge bands, Melvins, The Tragically Hip, and the story behind their unique band name.

Mark also throws a flurry of Canadian themed questions at Shane, including his thoughts on Nickelback, poutine, Rush, and ketchup chips.

BADGUYSWIN is sure to please the eardrums of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Melvins fans. Enjoy this blast from the past!

You can stream Cowards on BADGUYSWIN’s Bandcamp or Spotify. Likewise, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and their YouTube channel.
