Rock Recap: May 2020
There was plenty to discuss for our inaugural Rock Recap episode. May of 2020 brought us social distancing concerts, AMC Theaters ditching Universal Studies, and Guns N’ Roses writing a children’s book.
Sadly, the Month of May also brought unfortunate news of rock pioneer Little Richard passing away, along with comedian legends Fred Willard and Jerry Stiller.
Major releases this month included Jason Isbell’s incredible new album Reunions and the fascinating podcast Wind of Change, a deep dive into the conspiracy theory claiming the C.I.A. wrote the Scorpions hit track as propaganda to end tension between Russia and the eastern block.
We also reveal our Questionable Social Media Posts of the Month and our Mount Rushmore of “The Positives of Quarantine.”
